The Stevens Dramatic Society (SDS) is a student-run theatrical organization founded in 1910 at Stevens Institute of Technology. For many recent years, SDS has produced a dramatic play in the fall semester and a musical production during the spring semester. SDS proudly celebrated its centennial anniversary in the spring of 2011 in conjunction with Theta Alpha Phi (TAP)'s fiftieth anniversary. TAP is a national theatrical honor society. Stevens Institute of Technology plays host to the New Jersey's Alpha Chapter and the only chapter at a technical institute.
