APS CU*iP at Stevens

The American Physical Society (APS) Conference for Undergraduate Women and Gender Minorities in Physics (CU*iP) is an annual conference open to all identities that takes place at colleges and universities across the United States and Canada and aims to help undergraduate women and gender minorities discover educational and career opportunities available in physics.

The Department of Physics at Stevens Institute of Technology is honored to be a host for 2025. APS CU*iP will be hosted at 15 college and university sites across the US and Canada.

About CU*IP

The goal of APS CU*iP is to help undergraduate women and gender minorities continue in physics by providing the opportunity to experience a professional conference, information about graduate school and professions in physics, and access to peers and mentors in physics of all ages and genders with whom they can share experiences, advice, and ideas.

Timeline

What’s the difference between "application" and "registration"? You apply to attend a CU*iP conference, then you are directed to a CU*iP host site in your region. The site reviews your application, and you are accepted or declined. After you have been accepted, you will need to register and pay a $45 fee to confirm that you will actually be attending. The deadline to apply is Monday, October 23, 2024, 5:00 PM ET.
