Academic partnerships

Study in Asia, Europe, Australia

Stevens School of Business maintains a network of partnerships at universities around the world to learn and share best management practices with students and the global community.

Asia

Central University of Finance and Economics, in Beijing, and the School of Business offer joint master’s programs in Enterprise Project Management and Business Intelligence and Analytics. Students in the EPM program can choose to either complete their degrees in Beijing or Hoboken, through a “stay at home” selection — with a blend of CUFE, online and Stevens-taught classes in China — or by spending a year studying on the Stevens campus. The BI&A program is offered through a combination of studies in China and the United States. Students who complete the program may be eligible to remain in the United States for further training or employment.

For additional information on either of these programs, contact Dr. Michael zur Muehlen, associate dean of graduate programs at the School of Business.

Stevens has signed memoranda of understanding with two other prestigious universities in China — Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications — in the hope of offering additional opportunities for Chinese students to study here. In India, Stevens has signed memoranda of understanding with Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, in Mumbai; Anna University, in Tamil Nadu; and Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. Administrators hope to foster collaborations in research and exchanges of students and faculty.

Europe

Ecole Pour L’Informatique et les Techniques Avancées, in Paris, and the School of Business offer a joint master’s program, allowing candidates to concurrently pursue EPITA’s graduate Engineering degree and Stevens’ master’s degree in Information Systems in less time than it would take to earn the degrees independently. About half the required Information Systems credits are earned studying Engineering at EPITA, and can be transferred to Stevens. The rest are earned in the United States in a year. Students who complete the program may be eligible to remain in the United States for further training or employment.

For additional information, contact Dr. Michael zur Muehlen, associate dean of graduate programs.

Stevens is the only U.S. member of ERCIS, the European Research Center for Information Systems. The prestigious research group hosts regular conferences and workshops to share developments and best practices in this field, and encourages close ties between researchers to allow for cooperation on complex partnerships.

Stevens also maintains research collaborations with Eindhoven University of Technology, in the Netherlands. Additionally, Stevens has numerous undergraduate study abroad opportunities in countries throughout Europe. For more information about studying abroad, contact the Student Support Center.

Australia

The School of Business has active research partnerships with Queensland University of Technology and University of Queensland, both located in Brisbane. Both schools are considered leaders in researching business, management and finance.

Undergraduate student exchange programs

The School of Business believes the most influential leaders are those who bring a global perspective to business and technology. To facilitate this, Stevens maintains student exchange programs with a number of top-tier universities around the world. Students can study at the partner institution for a semester or a year, earning credits that are seamlessly applied to their Stevens degree.
