While Stevens strives to assist families in meeting their financial need, more than 90% of our students receive some form of financial support from Stevens. There are a variety of ways to help make a Stevens education as affordable as possible. Your first step is finding out about the different types of financial aid that might be available to you.
Explore Your Options
We strongly encourage all students and families to apply for financial aid, regardless of what you think you might receive. Below, we’ve provided information on the available types of aid. You might not be eligible for all of them, but it’s worth taking the time to learn about each one.
Stevens Scholarships
If your academic record, standardized test scores and extracurricular activities are particularly exceptional, you may be eligible for a Stevens merit scholarship when you are admitted. This gift aid is provided by Stevens Institute of Technology and does not need to be repaid.
Stevens Need-Based Aid
You may be eligible for a Stevens Grant if you demonstrate financial need and if funds are available. The Stevens Grant does not need to be repaid.
New Jersey Programs
If you live in the State of New Jersey, you may be eligible for generous, state-based grants if you demonstrate exceptional financial need. Grants do not need to be repaid.
Federal Programs
Almost every student who applies for financial aid receives some type of federal support. We’ll help you navigate the process of applying for federal grants, loans and work-study funding. Learn about the types of federal aid that are available and how to apply for them.
Work Study
