Earn Your Graduate Degree through the Accelerated Master's Program with the Schaefer School of Engineering & Science

The Accelerated Master’s Program (AMP) enables high-achieving students to begin earning credits toward a graduate degree during their undergraduate studies, enabling them to earn a master’s degree at an accelerated pace. Students enrolled in the program can double-count up to three courses (nine credits) toward both their undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Program Benefits

  • An advanced degree:

Earning a master's degree helps students gain specialized knowledge that can help them to advance in a specific field and may make it easier to transition into more senior roles after entering the workforce.

  • Flexibility:

Although AMP students are required to spend their first semester as a graduate student enrolled in classes full-time, they can later transition to part-time or online study (if their master’s program is available in a fully online format). This flexibility permits students to enter the workforce or move out of the Hoboken area while remaining enrolled at Stevens.
