How can AI drive inclusion? How do we build fairness and equity into AI systems? Join us for a high-energy, interactive event where top AI experts and students come together to explore the future of inclusive AI.

Hosted by the Inclusive Leadership Certificate Program, this isn’t just another panel discussion—expect an engaging mix of expert insights, interactive discussions, and a hands-on challenge.

Agenda

Panel Discussion (40 min)

  • A fast-paced conversation with industry leaders and scholars discussing:

  • How AI can foster inclusion in workplaces and society

  • The challenges of biases and fairness in AI and strategies to overcome them

  • What it takes to design truly inclusive AI systems

Roundtable Conversations (40 min)

  • Engage directly with our speakers in small-group discussions

  • Rotate through interactive roundtables with each panelist

  • Ask real questions, gain insights, and exchange ideas

  • Make career connections with AI and inclusion experts

AI Inclusion Challenge (40 min)

  • In small teams, brainstorm real-world applications of AI for inclusion and craft a 2-minute pitch answering the following questions. You don’t need to have AI or related background to participate.

  • How can AI be used to create more inclusive workplaces or communities?

  • What are the benefits and risks, and how can the risks be mitigated?

  • What’s an innovative use case that promotes inclusion?

  • Teams present their ideas in rapid-fire pitches, with panelists providing quick feedback
