Join us for Stevens First Ever Student Run Hackathon!
Presented by the Department of Computer Sciences
EVENT DETAILS
9:00 AM Saturday, March 29 - 2:00 PM Sunday, March 30
Registration: UCC Tech Flex
The Computer Science Department, SWiCS (Stevens Women in Computer Science), SCSC (Stevens Computer Science Club), SCDT (Stevens Cyber Defense Team), Blueprint, IEEE, and SEC (Software Engineering Club) have been hard at work to plan and host our first ever student-run hackathon. Any Stevens student, undergraduate or graduate, and any major can participate! We just ask that you make teams of 3 - 4 to compete. This will follow a traditional 24-hour hackathon-style so you can stay overnight, but there will not be official sleeping arrangements provided. However, the buildings will be open for the entire duration of the hackathon. Some prompts will be company-sponsored as well as open-ended ones. There will be prizes, food, merch, company networking, non-profit activities, workshops, and lots of fun!

If you've never done a hackathon before, hackathons aren't actual "hacking". It's more creating a project in a short amount of time with a group, following a certain prompt or request. It's fun and leads to some pretty cool projects that you can continue to build out after the hackathon!
