Graduate Admissions Check-In Process
Welcome to Stevens! We are excited to have you join our vibrant community.
This guide is designed to help you understand the Graduate Admissions check-in process. The check-in process is required for all new graduate students in order to verify your admission and update your record accordingly. Please review the following steps and complete this process as soon as you arrive on campus.
Step 1: Identity Verification
You will need to check-in in-person on the days/times/locations listed below. Please bring a valid Passport or your Stevens Mobile DuckCard (student ID).

Step 2: Official Document Submission
If you submitted unofficial transcripts during the application process, you must submit official transcripts before the first day of classes.
Digital/electronic official transcripts should be sent to [email protected].
Hard copy official transcripts should be hand-delivered (in a sealed envelope containing the institutions seal on the opening) to Graduate Admissions during check-in or can be mailed to the address listed on this page of the website. If you submitted unofficial test scores (i.e. GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, IELTS), you must submit official test scores before the first day of classes.
Official test scores must be sent directly from the testing agency to Stevens using the institution codes listed on this page of the website.
If you have submitted official transcripts or official test scores or transcripts but those documents do not appear in your Applicant Portal, please email [email protected] with evidence of submission. .
Step 3: SEVIS Activation (International Students Only) Check-in
All new international students are required to complete SEVIS Activation after they arrive to the U.S. and before they begin their program.
SEVIS activation is required by the Department of Homeland Security. Failure to timely check in and produce your documents to the ISSS Office may result in the loss of your lawful F-1 status.
SEVIS Activation is conducted virtually, through the ISSS Student Portal, which is accessible through MyStevens.
