Industry Collaboration

Stevens Institute of Technology works closely with organizations and businesses outside the university that recognize the groundbreaking work taking place on our campus.

Stevens researchers frequently partner with companies that are seeking new technologies or are interested in harnessing the intellectual power of our faculty to develop and test innovative products and services. Collaborations with Stevens can help companies solve complex business problems and speed the development of new products. Such business-academic partnerships help bring cutting-edge ideas to consumers quickly and enable both businesses and the university to exchange knowledge and ideas.

Intellectual Property

The Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship manages all the intellectual property owned by the university and is the only office authorized to engage in negotiations on the university’s behalf regarding corporate relationships with respect to IP. Various mechanisms for interaction are available ranging from licensing specific technologies to active participation in the establishment of new companies.
