Faculty Support
The Library provides resources, research assistance, and teaching support for Stevens faculty.
Borrowing
Faculty can borrow:
circulating books for an initial lending period of 120 days, and
up to 15 items at any given time (contact Circulation Services Manager John Cruz if you need to check out more items at one time).
Renewals
A book can be renewed 10 times unless there is a recall or hold placed on the book. For additional renewals, the book must be presented at the Circulation Desk.Policies about holds, recalls and fines can be found on the Borrow & Renew page.
Reserves and textbook collection
Please contact John Cruz, Circulation Services Manager, for information about placing books on reserve at the Circulation Desk.
Support for Your Class
Liaison librarians offer both general and discipline-specific Library research training sessions for your students in order to familiarize them with Library resources and give them an introduction to basic research techniques and information literacy.

Citation Searching and Impact Factor

Have a Book, Journal, or Database Recommendation?
The Library depends on faculty to help build a collection of books, journals, and databases that support the Stevens curriculum.
If you have a book suggestion, you may submit a Recommend a Book Purchase form. Our collection development policy has more information on the scope of our collection activity.
If you have a journal or database suggestion, you may submit a Recommend a Resource form.
