Ilianna Gualdron, M.A., LPC, NJ SCC
Ilianna Gualdron is a full-time Staff Psychotherapist at Stevens Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). She completed her B.A. in Psychology at Kean University. She is a NJ Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified School Counselor with a M.A. in Counseling from Kean University. In the past, she’s provided psychotherapy for emerging adults in a university setting and crisis interventions as a psychiatric screener. Presently, she is a member of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science and International OCD Foundation. She is developing competency in ERP and ACT to assist students of color struggling with OCD and other related disorders. Ilianna’s special interest is working with first generation diverse college students to identify and address needs through one-on-one and group setting counseling. Her theoretical foundations include Person Centered, Strength Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and evidenced based techniques with a warm non-judgmental approach. Ilianna is skilled in helping clients to overcome the following issues: life transitions, time management, boundary work, low self-confidence, anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, and depression. Ilianna provides culturally sensitive and collaborative sessions to create sustainable goals to support their academic journey at Stevens Institute of Technology.
