Important Dates - Transfer Students

Congratulations on your acceptance to Stevens Institute of Technology! Fall transfer students please refer to the checklist below for helpful tips on what to do next!

New international transfer students living on campus should plan to move in the morning of Thursday, August 22, 2024.

New domestic transfer students living on campus should plan to move in the morning of Tuesday, August 27, 2024.

Transfer students residing in Stevens Housing will be able to schedule a move-in appointment during the morning of August 27, 2024 between 10 am - 12 pm.

All new transfer students are required to attend a Transfer Student Orientation on August 27, 2024 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Classes begin on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

June 28

July 15

  • Fall 2024 transfer student housing application opens.

  • If applicable, return the Health and Wellness Disclosure Form to the Office of Disability Services. 

  • Upload your mobile DuckCard ID photo

  • Log in to the Financial Aid Portal to accept or decline aid offered

  • Complete Entrance Counseling and Master Promissory Note if borrowing federal loans

  • Get started on the required online educational modules

  • Last day to change your major. Submit a change of major request to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. After this deadline, major change requests will not be accommodated for the fall semester.

  • Transfer Students may register for Stevens emergency alerts.

  • Download the Stevens Guardian App for Campus Safety from Apple or Google Play stores.

July 30

  • Deadline to submit the housing application and housing deposit on the myStevens portal. Please visit our website for detailed housing information

August 1

  • Health and Immunization Form due through the Healthy Stevens Portal

  • Deadline to contact Allison Kosswig, Assistant Director for the Office of Undergraduate Academics, to discuss your credit evaluation ([email protected]). Students will be contacted by individual academic advisors to discuss course schedules for the fall semester. 

  • Priority deadline for final updated college transcripts (with spring courses included)

August 4

  • Deadline to submit all syllabi to be evaluated for the upcoming fall semester

August 8

  • Fall 2024 tuition, housing and fees payment due 

August 15

  • Consider signing an optional FERPA release in Workday

  • Fall sport student-athlete arrival on campus

August 20

  • Fall Military Benefits Application due in Workday for qualified students

August 22

  • New international student residents arrive on campus

August 23

  • New international student orientation (mandatory for all international transfer students)

  • Submit final college transcripts to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions

August 27

  • New transfer students living on campus should plan to move-in in the morning

  • Move-in and Transfer Orientation and check-in between 10 am - 12 pm (mandatory)  

August 31

  • Deadline to complete all required online educational modules 

September 3

September 15

  • Deadline to enroll or waive Stevens Student Health Insurance

September 16

  • Last day to add or drop courses
