Stevens Fellowships and Scholarships Database
The Office of Undergraduate Research and Fellowships has created a centralized Fellowships and Scholarships Database to help enrolled students find external scholarship opportunities. This resource aggregates various outside scholarships in one convenient location. Their pilot peer mentoring program has recently launched to assist students with identifying and applying for scholarships, offering drop-in hours and asynchronous tutoring. Access is limited to currently enrolled Stevens students with a valid Campus-Wide ID (CWID). Click here to learn more.

Outside Scholarship Opportunities
Through other organizations, our institution has received information regarding outside scholarship awards. Our office will be updating this section as we receive outside scholarship notifications. Please check back for updates throughout the year.
PNC Student Lending Scholarship. Deadline to apply: rolling deadline.
Awards $2,000 scholarships to undergraduate students once every six months randomly to six students who register for a user account on PNC's Financial Literacy platform. No purchase/transaction is required.

The SAME New Jersey Post Scholarship. Deadline to apply: March 14, 2025.
The New Jersey Post SAME Scholarship Fund, Inc will award a minimum of one, one-time scholarship based on merit to a collage or university undergraduate student studying Architecture, Engineering, or a related science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) subject for the 2025-2026 academic year. The Scholarships are awarded to undergraduate students who will be entering their 2nd through last year of study at a Community College, four year College or University in the 2025-2026 academic year. Priority for Scholarship awards will be citizens of the U.S., residents of NJ and / or matriculated in a university located in the New Jersey. Applicants must have a minimum 2.4 GPA to qualify. The Greater Wayne Area AAUW Scholarship. Deadline to apply: April 1 2025.
The AAUW Greater Wayne Area Branch Scholarship Committee awards annual scholarships with a preference for women returning to college to complete their first undergraduate degree. The scholarships are intended to help ease the burden of college expenses for the recipients. To qualify, students must be residents of Northern New Jersey, living in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, or Union County. Students must also be at least 25 years old at the time the application is completed, and enrolled in an accredited college as an undergraduate student seeking a Bachelor's degree. The Land Conservancy of New Jersey Scholarship. Deadline to apply: April 1 2025.
The Land Conservancy of New Jersey Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate students from New Jersey who are working on a degree in an environmental field and awards up to $10,000 to 7 students. This program is open to New Jersey residents who have completed at least 45 credits at a college in any state offering a degree in environmental science, natural resource management, conservation, horticulture, park administration, or a related field. Students must have a cumulative academic average equivalent to a 3.3. or higher. To learn more and apply, select here.
The CME Group Foundation Scholars Program. Deadline to apply: April 3 2025.
The CME Group Foundation Scholarship Program awards up to a $20,000 per year renewable scholarship to First Generation undergraduate college students enrolled in fields of finance or computer science who demonstrate financial need and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. The applicant must be a current rising undergraduate sophomore, junior or senior student who plans on enrolling full time in the entire upcoming academic year. The RentHop Apartment Scholarship awards up to $2,000 a year to eligible undergraduate students in bachelor's and associate's degree programs in the US who demonstrate the ambition, diligence, leadership, and entrepreneurial spirit that is central to our company culture. The RealtyHop Scholarship awards up to $2,000 a year to eligible undergraduate students and high school seniors working towards a bachelor and/or associate degree program in the US who demonstrate the ambition, diligence, leadership, and entrepreneurial spirit that is central to our company culture. Smart Borrowing Scholarship: Deadline to apply: December 31, 2025.
The Smart Borrowing Scholarship awards $1,500 to winner drawn every month through December 2025. You must be a legal resident of the United States and be at least 18 years old to enroll. For more details about the terms and how to enter, please select here.
Outside Scholarship Opportunities for Transfer Students
Eligibility: Students must be enrolled at a community college with plans to enroll at a four-year college or university. Students must have a 3.5 GPA or higher to apply.
Amount: Up to $40,000 per year
Eligibility: (Eligibility for Tau Sigma membership) Students must be enrolled as a full-time student at a community college with plans to enroll at a four-year college or university and hold a minimum 3.5 GPA.
Amount: Up to $5,000
Eligibility: Must be a member of Phi Theta Kappa and have a minimum 3.5 GPA. Applicants must have completed 12 to 36 semester hours of college-level coursework before applying.
