Quantitative Finance 6-Week Virtual Summer Research Experience
The Stevens School of Business offers an immersive six-week virtual summer research program focused on quantitative finance, where students delve into the fascinating world of financial analysis and data-driven decision-making.
If you are an ambitious high school student interested in finance, probability and statistical methodologies, and computer science, this program will equip you with essential skills and certifications highly valued in the industry.
Program Highlights:
Hands-on Learning: Participants will engage in interactive lectures, practical exercises, and real-world case studies, gaining a deep understanding of quantitative finance concepts.
Bloomberg Certification: Students will have the opportunity to earn a Bloomberg Market Concepts certification.
Capital IQ Certification: Through guided tutorials and practical sessions, students will also earn a Capital IQ certification, mastering this powerful financial database for investment research and analysis.
Coding Skills Development: While some familiarity with coding is required, the program will further enhance students' coding skills, particularly in languages like Python and R, which are essential for quantitative analysis in finance.
Eligibility:
Rising juniors and seniors entering the fall 2025 academic year
Coding experience preferred
Familiarity with MS Excel

Duration: June 30 – August 11, 2025
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday – 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. EST
Format: Virtual, synchronous format with live interactive sessions and self-paced learning modules
Tuition: $2000.00
