The Duck Support Network: Mental Health First Aid at Stevens
Empower yourself with the skills to support Stevens' students mental health in times of need.
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an eight-hour (8) skills-based training on how to identify, understand and respond to signs and symptoms of mental health or substance use challenges. MHFA certification is valid for three years.

Trainings are offered throughout the year. Class size is limited to the first 20 registrants. If you cannot attend the dates below, check back regularly for new upcoming dates.
The next student training is scheduled to occur over two days on March 26, 2025 and April 2, 2025
The next staff and faculty training is scheduled to occur over two days on March 18, 2025 and March 19, 2025

Membership in the Duck Support Network
Over 100 students, faculty and staff have completed MHFA certification at Stevens and become automatic members of the Stevens Duck Support Network. Members of the Duck Support Network get an iconic blue hoodie in their size of choice and are invited to an end-of-year celebration to cheer on the membership!
