Research
Theoretical Quantum Optics and Photonic Devices:
1) Atom optics: atom interferometry, nonlinear mixing of matter waves, quantum statistics and coherence properties of matter-wave fields, mechanical effects of light on atoms including diffraction of atoms by light fields and trapping of atoms.
2) Quantum coherence in atomic systems and nonlinear spectroscopy
3) Optical gyroscopes and Sagnac effect
4) Integrated optical devices and sensors
