This pre-med program gives exceptionally qualified students the opportunity to earn the B.S. degree at Stevens and the M.D. degree at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in a total of seven years—a saving of one year in time and expense.

If you are admitted to the accelerated chemical biology program, you'll take the same courses as the science majors in the first year, adding other program requirements during the following semesters at Stevens, and then enter the medical school at the beginning of your fourth year.

Transfer credit for courses taken in the first year of study at the medical school are used to complete the requirements of the Bachelor of Science degree.
