The Office of International Programs provides overall strategic direction and visibility for the internationalization efforts of Stevens Institute of Technology. These initiatives include study abroad, international partnerships and exchanges, international sponsored student outreach, co-curricular programming and research.

Stevens offers its students diverse opportunities for study abroad such as semester exchanges with our global partners, semester programs with affiliated programs and universities and short-term opportunities led by Stevens faculty. Where will your next adventure take you?
Global Ambassadors Program
The Global Ambassadors Program was developed for Stevens study abroad returnees who enjoyed all aspects of their international experiences and want to volunteer to help other Stevens students discover the many study abroad opportunities available to them.

The Office of International Programs will engage our international students and scholars with our domestic students to foster an environment of mutual understanding and engender global perspectives on important issues on our campus.

Meet the Staff
Susi Rachouh, Director of International Programs, advises all study abroad students, and has worked closely with sponsored international students, such as the graduate cohort of the Brazil Scientific Mobility Program. Susi facilitates all international exchanges and partnerships, and organizes internationally focused co-curricular programming on campus, such as International Education Month, in collaboration with other departments. Susi studied abroad in Paris while an undergraduate, earning a Diplome Superiere de Francais des Affaires, and completed her BA in French at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. Susi earned her MA in Intercultural Management from the School for International Training. Susi has traveled extensively in Europe, as well as numerous countries in Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.

Jane Winthrop, Assistant Director of International and Special Programs, advises study abroad students, particularly those from the Pinnacle and Clark Scholars programs. She facilitates the incoming exchange student program and supports the Director in all administrative functions. On campus, Jane serves as a co-facilitator for the First Year Experience course and is a co-advisor to the new International Student Association. Jane earned her BA in History and Global Development Studies at the University of Virginia. While an undergraduate, she studied abroad in Mendoza, Argentina. She has an MA in International Educational Development from Teachers College, Columbia University. Jane lived in Madrid, Spain and has traveled throughout the Americas and Europe.

Isabel Sutedjo, Undergraduate Student Assistant at the Office of International Programs, oversees all technological-related changes. She is currently studying Computer Science, graduating in 2025. Isabel updates the Stevens Office of International Programs website pages and the Study Abroad Portal. Isabel helps with the weekly Study Abroad info sessions and the Global Ambassadors program. Isabel studied abroad in South Korea through the National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) Program during High School.

Sydney Chaca, Undergraduate Student Assistant at the Office of International Programs. She is currently studying Business and Technology, graduating in 2025. Sydney helps promote the study abroad scholarships and assists with creating flyers and anything else with social media. She also gathers testimonials/pictures from past study-abroad adventures!

Camila Crespo, Undergraduate Student Assistant at the Office of International Programs, assists with promoting study abroad programs, scholarships, and other international opportunities to students in business and STEM. She is currently studying Business and Technology, graduating in 2026. Camila studied abroad in London after her first year of college through the Pinnacle Scholars Program. She encourages all students to have at least one study abroad experience!
