Innovation Showcase
An Innovation Showcase event provides an opportunity for an employer to introduce and present information about new and emerging technologies to students and faculty. After the presentation, students have an opportunity to network with employer representatives.
Interview Day
An Interview Day provides an opportunity for employers to interview students in-person or virtually for job opportunities. Students are selected by employers from the pool of students who apply to jobs posted on Handshake. Students selected for interviews are invited to schedule a time slot with an employer representative. The career center coordinates and manages the interview schedule for the day. An Interview Day could include representatives from one employer or representatives from multiple employers.
Job & Internship Fairs also known as Career Fairs
A Stevens Job & Internship Fair is a large-scale recruiting event in which students seeking internships, co-op jobs, and full-time jobs meet with representatives of potential employers. Students attend a Job & Internship Fair to share key information about their career interests and experience based on available job opportunities posted on Handshake. Job & Internships Fairs are held every year in September and February.
Networking Events
Networking Events provide an opportunity for employers to strengthen brand awareness by networking with students interested in working for the employer. A Networking Event can be held for one employer or multiple employers from the same industry. Networking Events are typically held after 5:00 pm for two hours. The career center provides light refreshments, employer representatives are provided covered highboy tables and may bring a pop-up banner with the employer brand. Students do not bring resumes to these events.
