Stevens Student Center

The Stevens Student Center serves as a hub of student life at Stevens.

The Student Center is home to the Office of Student Affairs, the Office of Undergraduate Student Life and the Office of Community Standards and Title IX

Student organizations including The Stute, The LINKWCPR Radio Station, the Honor Board and the Student Government Association also have offices in the Student Center.  The Student Center has lounge spaces, is home to the Intercultural Space, a game room, conference rooms, and student organization storage.

Student Center Hours

The Student Center is open on weekdays from 9 AM - 11 PM, and on weekends from 12 PM - 10 PM. 



Community Spaces

The Commons Room 104

Space for student programs, workshops and events.  When not reserved, open space for students to socialize and study. Up to 12 tables and 70 chairs can be set up in this space in different configurations; room capacity is 74.  Presentation screen, and sound system available.

 

The Intercultural Space Room 105

The Intercultural Space is open to all students, faculty and staff and exists to empower Stevens students to create a thriving and inclusive community through dialogue, identity and leadership development, and creative programming.  This space serves as the hub for ongoing efforts towards building a more diverse, inclusive, and engaged community. Comfortable seating for socialization, events, and studying; room capacity is 35.  Presentation technology available.

 

Game Room Room 107

Features a brand new pool table for student use.  Students may also bring video games to hook up to the large screen in this space.  

 

Student Affairs Conference Room  Room 203

Large conference table with 20 seats, though up to 40 people can be accommodated in this space.  Presentation screen, Solstice technology, and phone conferencing are available.

 

Student Conference Room  Room 303

Large conference table with 10 seats, though up to 20 people can be accommodated in this space.  Presentation screen is available.

 

Space Reservations

The Commons, the Student Conference Room, and the Student Affairs Conference Room may be reserved for student-related events and programs through the University's Event Management System.  For inquiries regarding usage of the Intercultural Space, contact the Diversity Education staff.  The Game Room is not reservable; it may be used on a first-come, first-served basis.

Student organizations and Stevens departments may email [email protected] to reserve a table in the front hallway of the Student Center for event promotion and passive programming.

Loaner Items

Students may borrow pool cues, pool cue chalk, a pool ball rack, a volleyball, kanjam, or cornhole from the reception desk on the first floor.
