Career Coaching

Experienced career coaches conduct one-on-one appointments with students to provide career guidance. Students are encouraged to meet with a career coach regularly starting in their first year at Stevens to discuss any topics of interest. Some of the most popular topics include resume feedback, interview preparation, job search, Co-op Program guidance and job search, cover letters, job offer negotiation, and graduate school planning.

Career Education Workshops

The Stevens Career Center hosts a series of 50-minute career education workshops to support the career development of students. Workshops are delivered in-person and virtually throughout the fall, spring, and summer semesters.  Topics include resume writing, interviewing skills, business etiquette, networking, job offer negotiation, and much more. From time to time Stevens alumni or employer representatives are invited to join the workshops to offer valuable tips to students. Check Handshake regularly to view the career education workshop schedule.

Online Job Search & Interview Preparation Resources

The Stevens Career Center offers a variety of best-in-class online resources. These resources are available to students 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Access to these resources requires secure log-in to a MyStevens account or a Stevens email address.

Employer Recruiting Events

Attending a variety of employer recruiting events is one of the most effective ways to learn about companies, career options, and available jobs and internships. During employer events students learn directly from alumni and recruiters and have an opportunity to ask questions and network with company representatives.

Review the information on the Employer Recruiting webpage to learn about the types of employer recruiting events hosted by the Stevens Career Center, what you should wear to an event, and things you should do to prepare for an event.
